When I discovered that I was a victim of hypertension (I am a 57 year old female), I came to see Dr. Li in March of 2011 with a little fear and a lot of skepticism having never before tried any form of acupuncture. I was bowled over. Following a thoroughly professional and detailed discussion of my medical history, Dr. Li outlined the areas where he felt I could benefit from a course of acupuncture and shortly thereafter, set about a course of treatment which was neither painful nor unpleasant. Surprisingly, it was quite the contrary resulting in an experience more akin to massage leaving me feeling totally relaxed and unwound. The days following each session have resulted in the most remarkable levels of energy throughput the day which are now continuing for months at a time.  I look forward to my weekly visit to the Lifecare Acupuncture and Alternative Medicine Center.  My blood pressure has leveled out and continues to stay in the normal range.  I feel great! I thank Dr. Li for his introduction to the world of Acupuncture and would heartily recommend his services to anyone.  He is the BEST!

AMD really sucks. My grandfather, mother, and brother had AMD.If your eyes are"dry", there is nothing a retina specialist can do, except take your vitamins and come back in 6 months.
If your eye goes "wet"(bleeds), a shot in the eye helps stop the bleeding.  After 13 shots($2,000.00 a pop) to stop the bleeding, there had to be better way to treat my eyes. Dr Henry Li said that he could not cure AMD, but with acupuncture he could slow the process of me going blind. So far, so good. I get treatment once or twice a month. I do my chinse eye exercises 4 times a day, My good eye sight is still 20/60. My eye is free of blood. Don't know if Dr Li can help you, but he is a miracle worker to me.

I started coming to Dr. Li for help with stress, particularly a twitching eye. I had previously tried exercise, yoga, cutting out caffeine... I had never done acupuncture before and decided to give it a try. I found it to be relaxing and pain free; I leave feeling happy. After a few weekly treatments, my symptoms went away. Now I go as part of a maintenance program to keep my symptoms at bay. I still get stressed in situations, but the uneasy feeling goes away quickly. (Incidentally, I stopped coming for a month and a half and my symptoms came back.) I come all the way from Flower Mound to see Dr. Li. The staff (Ashlea) is courteous and efficient. Their appointments work with my schedule and I'm always seen right at my appointment time. I like the fact that Dr. Li is a medical doctor and can understand a wide range of problems. Dr. Li has helped people with relief from pain, allergies, chemotherapy side effects - all without using medication.

In was introduced to Dr. Henry Li when I was looking for an alternative medical doctor for my mother to help her with blood pressure issues and recurrent urinary tract infections. She is 84. He discussed the situation with me on the phone and assured me he could help her. I made an appointment for her and brought her in and was totally amazed! Just from the first visit his treatments lowered her blood pressure by 30 points! When I brought her home it was in the 120's. He also prescribed some chinese herbal combinations for blood pressure regulation as well as maintaining the urinary tract. I have continued to take her there weekly for several months and she is doing quite well. Another benefit from his treatments, she began to be more alert, conversational and doing much better mentally. I have sent other people to him and I have gone to him myself since that time and everyone i send sing his praises! He also diagnosed the source and treated a family member that had unexplained anxiety for years and treated him successfully sending him on his way feeling great for the first time in years. After visiting many different types of doctors including ENT, allergist and internal medicine doctor, I became very frustrated that none of them were able to help me.
